Lab Technician [Greece]

Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a Lab Technicianto join our R&D team in Pallini, Athens.

As a Lab Technician, the ideal candidate will be accountable for organizing warehouse, maintain organized laboratory and carrying out specialized analytical tests so as to provide assistance to the R&D team.

Requirements

More particularly:

What you’ll do:

  • Perform routine analysis testing using IR, LOD,UV, titrators, KF, Hardness, Dissolution
  • Load and pull out final product samples in stability chambers
  • Keep accurate and detailed handwritten or electronic records on laboratory data
  • Generate handwritten or electronic reports on projects, testing, etc.
  • Update electronic base and organize warehouse of sample, solvents and reagents
  • Receive samples, solvents and reagents
  • Prepare dispatches in external/internal customers
  • Check the laboratory data loggers and update respective electronic databases
  • Calibration of internally calibrated instrumentation based on schedule (daily, weekly etc)
  • Maintain laboratory raw data in order
  • Clean and organize ovens, fridge, freezers, stability chambers etc
  • Organize and clean laboratory and maintain clean glassware
  • Prepare laboratory solutions.
  • Organize waste recycling
  • Liaise with the maintenance staff on repair of faults or modifications
  • Record data, observations, and conclusions
  • Work on R&D projects

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Minimum of a diploma from a technical or vocational training institution
  • 0-1 years of working experience in a relevant role in the pharmaceutical industry

  • Excellent communication skills both in Greek and English (writing and speaking)
  • Competent in lab instrumentation and organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and meet timelines
